October 9th-Soups, Muffins & A Birthday!

Good Morning!

We have the makings for a majestic day here at The Baldpate Inn! While Twin Sisters continues to daunt a shadow over Lily Lake the valley is being soaked with golden rays of sunshine as a gentle mountain breeze passes ever so lightly across the splendid Aspen leaves which have almost all turned to show off their fall colors and a Steller's Jay again graces us with his presence! Breathtaking views are all around us! One of our servers, Fitz- (with his German Shepherd-Chaos) is celebrating his birthday today-come on by to wish him a Happy Birthday!

Beef Stew as well as Pumpkin Curry (add a dollop of whipped cream) are the delectable soups our lovely chefs are busy back in the kitchen preparing-come on in to have a bowl or two! Either would go nicely with a slice of our scrumptious homemade Honey Wheat Bread. Our petite Buttermilk Bran Muffins (one of my favorites) are being served today alongside our Poppy Seed Muffins (for those of you with a slight sweet tooth) and our Green Onion Cream Cheese Muffins! The specialty salads were prepared by our wonderful staff! Tantalzie your tastebuds with all of our buffet selections today! It will leave you wanting more. Remember to save room for a slice of pie! I recommend cherry-chocolate-rhubard!
