Now I'm from the city but that doesn't mean I don't have a little country in me! It's Rodeo week here in Estes and today's traditional Rooftop Rodeo Parade starts at 10:30 in downtown Estes Park. So enjoy the great morning sunshine downtown for the parade and by the time the parade is over, it's lunch time at the Baldpate!
Today's menu includes a Cream of Mushroom and my favorite, a Red Chili. Muffins today are Mandarin Orange muffins as well as Cranberry Nut muffins. Our world famous Cornbread, which I don't know a single person who has not liked our cornbread, is always on the menu so don't worry folks! And our Honey Wheat Bread is baking freshly in the oven as well. Our full salad bar never disappoints as it has only the freshest toppings and dressings. So come hungry!
Tomorrow is another exciting night at the Baldpate as we host another Summer Enchanted Evening. July 13th's topic is presented by Sybil Barnes who is the author of Images of America-Estes Park Pictorial History. So don't miss out on a night of fun and interesting history. It starts at 7:00 P.M. so maybe get some dinner with us before and come on down to our library!
Speaking of exciting times at the Baldpate, our last showing of Seven Keys to Baldpate, is this weekend so make sure you come out! This is such a funny and great play that won't leave you disappointed! I already went to both showings last weekend and loved it! I met two ladies who read our blogs regularly, Vivian and Marsha, at the play so shout out to them and thanks for always reading! Our plays this weekend start this Friday, July 15th at 6:30 P.M. and on July 16th at 1:30 and 6:30 as well.
This is going to be an exciting week here as it's rodeo week so giddy on up to the Baldpate!
Have a joyful day at the Baldpate.
Peace and Blessings,
