FAQs about Your Baldpate Inn

Members of The Baldpate Inn Staff want to ensure that you, our valued customer, have ready access to the information you need on a regular basis!

1.  What are your hours?  We begin our soup and salad service at 11:30AM and continue through 8:00PM.  We kindly ask that you make reservations, however, no later than 7:30PM so that you can enjoy the best we have to offer without feeling rushed!

2.  Are you open?  Yes.  We are seasonal, but normally operate between Memorial Day and Columbus Day weekends.

3.  How much is the soup and salad buffet?  The price is $16 per person.  Beverages and pie are at an additional charge, but are well worth the cost.

4.  What are your lodging rates?  Our rates depend on the type of room in question, but range from between $125.00 to $500.00 per night.

5.  Do you have a menu?  No, but we do offer two specialty soups, three salads, and two muffins on a daily basis.  Just check our Facebook page or Twitter account for the latest on what to expect that day.

This past Sunday your friendly Baldpate Inn staff had the pleasure of meeting one Ms. Phebe Novic.

While Phebe is a local legend here in the Estes Park community, she came to most of us as a relatively unknown guest given that most of us our still 'new' to town.  She briefly described the concept behind her and her husband's inn-to-inn hiking business, Footpaths of the World, which grew out of her and her husbands shared love of hiking and traveling throughout Europe.

The Baldpate is proud to be a member of the Footpaths team and a key destination along their Walter Tishman Way Route.

Don't worry, though, if you didn't hike (or snowshoe) your way over Storm Pass or Estes Cone since the Baldpate is happy to host anyone by any means.

Opening Day

Greetings from The Baldpate Inn!  We finally made it to opening day and we couldn't be more pleased with the turnout thus far.

We currently have our Pumpkin Curry and Beef Stew on offer as well as our usual salad fixings.

Oh, and we would be remiss if we forgot to mention all the DELICIOUS pies we have for you this afternoon and evening.  So please swing on in for a slice to kick off your Memorial Day celebrations.

Did you know that The Baldpate Inn is only seven miles south of Estes Park, Colorado, along Highway 7?

That's only 90 minutes from Denver!

Estes Park is one of the most well-known mountain towns on the Front Range and is, by and large, your best bet for access to Rocky Mountain National Park. This destination location on your way toward great views offers a wide assortment of restaurants and shops. Despite the vast number of options for food and fare in downtown Estes, the village maintains a close-knit, small-town feel due to the wonderful partnerships between many of the local business owners.

That said, The Baldpate Inn encourages you to enjoy all that Estes Park has to offer, but to please consider taking in those same views alongside a fantastic buffet, all-day dining options, and unique accommodations here just a few miles south on Highway 7.

T-7 Days Until Season Opening

Good morning from The Baldpate Inn!

The staff continues to prepare the cabins, dining room, and lodge for your arrival on May 22, 2015. Call and talk to one of our bubbly front desk gals to make a reservation at 970.586.KEYS or 970.586.5397.

As we continue to welcome members of the Baldpate Inn 'family' from all over the United States, we now number 14.  We plan to welcome 3 new 'family' members this afternoon from Florida and Wisconsin.
