Our season here at The Baldpate Inn is in full swing and with that comes our Summer Enchanted Evenings programs. Starting this Wednesday, June 10, 2015, John Meissner will be sharing with us his fascinating quest to generate a list of the so-called "R" series of Sanborn postcards. Postcards that are the original real-photo postcards Harold Sanborg created beginning in 1922. The "R" series are a compilation of postcards specific to the Rocky Mountain National Park. Join us at 7:00 PM in The Baldpate Inn's Key Room. You don't want to miss out on this enchanting evening!

Proud Partnership Profile: SK Horses
While we here at The Baldpate Inn would never intentionally take advantage of the goodwill and hospitality on offer throughout the local Estes Park community, we aren't going to look a gift horse in the mouth neither.
Literally.
This was precisely the case when we had two cowhands from SK Horses show up on Tuesday and offer our staff the opportunity to go horseback riding at either of their locations near the entrance to Rocky Mountain National Park.
Four of our team members took them up on their generous offer (after they had some of our delicious homemade pie, of course) and went for a two-hour ride that took them along the Continental Divide and down Devil's Staircase. Despite the name on that last trail, however, the staff couldn't have been more pleased with their experience.
They confirmed that the experience is suitable for novice and pro alike as well as a leisurely, safe, and fun way to see the Rockies. Don't forget to stop on by the inn after your ride, though, to fill up on muffins, soup, and salad.

Proud Partnership Profile: Walter Tishman Way
This past Sunday your friendly Baldpate Inn staff had the pleasure of meeting one Ms. Phebe Novic.
While Phebe is a local legend here in the Estes Park community, she came to most of us as a relatively unknown guest given that most of us our still 'new' to town. She briefly described the concept behind her and her husband's inn-to-inn hiking business, Footpaths of the World, which grew out of her and her husbands shared love of hiking and traveling throughout Europe.
The Baldpate is proud to be a member of the Footpaths team and a key destination along their Walter Tishman Way Route.
Don't worry, though, if you didn't hike (or snowshoe) your way over Storm Pass or Estes Cone since the Baldpate is happy to host anyone by any means.

Theatre at The Baldpate Inn: Coming Apart
Hello All!
June has finally arrived and we could not be more excited here at The Baldpate Inn for all the events going on this month. The Baldpate Key-thedral Theater & The Fine Arts Guild of the Rockies proudly announce our readers theater production, Coming Apart by Fred Carmichael.
A couple, both successful writers, opens the play with the simultaneous declaration “I want a divorce”. Actually, neither does! Hilarity ensues as they continue to live together in divided space and the wife writes a book that parallels the situation. You will certainly adore this delightful romantic comedy!
Spend an enchanting evening with us as we unfold this story of love and marriage. Shows start at 2:30 or 6:30 so come on in for our delicious soup and salad buffet before the show.

Spring Storms
Hello All!
