August Events

End your summer with a bang at The Baldpate Inn. Today join us for some of our Baldpate Beef Stew and Pumpkin Curry soups. Our muffins of the day include Banana Butterscotch and Green Onion Cream Cheese.

Not able to make it today? No problem! Join us for one of our other events this month. On August 20th we will have A Baldpate Night in Paris. The Davellie Swing Band will be performing from 7-9pm with a selection of Gypsy Jazz. This free outdoor concert will be held at our Baldpate Key-thedral theater.

Other events include College Days. On August 26th we have Fat Tire Friday. On this day come celebrate the beginning of school days with a refreshing New Belgium Fat Tire. The 27th will be sporty Saturday. In honor of the 1929 Yoyo competition hosted here at the Baldpate, bring your best yoyo skills to challenge your server to a Yoyo contest. August 28th will be sleep-inn Sunday. After sleeping-in come join us for a three course Breakfast at Baldpate (Reservations required).

Of course don't forget Summer Enchanted Evenings. These occur every Wednesday night at 7pm and are free to all. Upcoming speakers include Marlene Borneman (topic: wildflowers), Natalie Vazquez, and Tyler Edmondson (topic: hummingbirds) for the month of August.
