June 13th-Soups & Muffins

Good Morning!

I was greeted by the fresh mountain air as well as the brightly shining sun, sending down its warmth to cut through the cool of the morning on my way to get the daily paper. It looks like it is going to be a wonderful Friday (oh my-it's Friday the 13th), with only a few clouds in the sky and the hummingbirds dancing around the feeders awaiting your arrival!

Come join us to eat between 11:30am and 8:00pm to unlock the mystery of your tastebuds with either our Red Chili or Broccoli Cheese Soup (vegetarian) both of which our chef is busy preparing! Either would warm you up, plus go great with a slice of our Honey Wheat Bread! Fresh out of the oven today is our mouth-watering Baldpate Cornbread along with our Oatmeal Blues (don't worry-you'll be anything but blue after eating them) and Mandarin Orange Muffins! Finally don't forget to save room for a slice of homemade pie-even on a cool day like today a scoop of ice cream with top off any of them nicely!

This Sunday is Father's Day! Why not celebrate it right here at The Baldpate Inn? All fathers will receive a free scoop of ice cream with their pie-this is in honor of our Innkeeper Lois' father. He loved ice cream!
