Good Morning!
It's a wonderful day here at The Baldpate Inn-the sun is sending down its warmth-giving everything its golden touch, the hummingbirds are as busy as ever dancing against the cloudless blue sky as they drink ever so gently from the feeders and the slight breeze made for an excellent walk to get the daily paper-what a beautiful way to start off my birthday!!!
Today is the perfect day to come join us for a meal any time between the hours of 11:30am and 8:00pm as it is the start of Summer in the Keys here at the Baldpate-beginning with Fat Tire Friday! Remember we will be having a Grand Prize drawing on Sunday for a Key Gift Certificate!
Back in the kitchen the chef is busy preparing the soups for today which happen to be-Red Chili and Broccoli Cheese (vegetarian as well as one of my favorites!). I believe I will have it accompanied with a slice of Honey Wheat Bread or if you prefer our mouth-watering Baldpate Corn Bread-you are in luck as it is on the menu today! Our muffins fresh out of the oven today are our All Bran Muffins as well as our Mandarin Orange Muffins. This great meal would be topped off nicely and your tastebuds will be thanking you after a wonderful piece of homemade pie-with or without ice cream!
