The Baldpate Bears Dine and Dash

Hello Everyone!

We had quiet the exciting morning here at the Baldpate! A mom and her cubs tried to join us for Breakfast at Baldpate. They smelled the delicious food coming out of the oven and decided they were hungry too. We unfortunately had no reservations for them and had to turn them away. They left in a huff but not before taking some grapes and a hummingbird feeder for dessert, talk about dine and dash! The cubs were absolutely adorable though so we let it slide :) If you would like to join us for some more excitement tomorrow be sure to come for our Summer Enchanted Evenings.Join Alicia Mittelman, Curator of Education at the Estes Park Museum for a presentation entitled "Fun & Games: How We Enjoyed Estes Park" at 7 pm Wednesday, August 28 at the Baldpate Inn.  Mittelman will share photographs from the Museum's collection and describe the various ways guests recreated and relaxed in the Estes valley for more than a century! We will have some yummy snacks and drinks as well, all courtesy of the Inn. Speaking of yummy today our soups are Beef Stew and Corn Chowder, my favorite! I hope I see you all today and tomorrow for some food and fun!
