It's a another stunning morning here at the Baldpate. The sun is out and so are all our flying friends, the humming birds! I think they've heard all the "buzz" about our exhibit and wanted to check it out for themselves. In case you haven't heard yet, today is our "Unlocking the 1920's at The Baldpate" exhibit. This exhibit will feature some of our fascinating keys from the 1920's with explanations as to their historical significance. The key room is all decked out in 1920's décor with boas and pearls galore, not to mention our staff who are sporting some of the hippest trends from the 1920's. We will also be having some 1920's inspired food and snacks later this afternoon. The exhibit will be open from 10a.m. to 6p.m. today and everyone is invited to join in on the fun!
We would also love for you to join us for lunch or dinner! We have some terrific home made soups that bring people in from all over the country! Today are famous soups are Tomato Rice and our Baldpate Beef Stew. We also have some refreshing specialty salads including our Waldorf Apple, Jicama Two-Step and Lemon Mandarin Orange, yummy! I hope I see you all here with your appetites and thirst for knowledge. We will be serving all you can eat and drink for both!
