A best selling author plans to win a bet by writing a novel in less than 24 hours. Seeking solitude, he goes to a summer resort in the dead of winter, but his stay at The Baldpate Inn is interrupted by a steady stream of visitors…each bearing “the only key to Baldpate in existence”. Crooked politicians, bribe money, blackmail, true love, betrayal, double cross, a reporter’s news scoop, and a friendly wager collide in this mysterious, melodramatic farce.

Also this weekend, Santa Clause is coming to….The Baldpate Inn! Our annual Christmas in July celebration will begin tomorrow July 23. Festivities will continue through the 24th, Christmas Eve and the 25th, Christmas Day. Join your friends at The Baldpate Inn for Christmas music, Christmas shopping and our snowball special. Don’t let the little ones miss Santa and Mrs. Clause on Christmas Day, Saturday July 25.
