Good Morning Estes Park,

It’s a lovely start to the week and what a week it is shaping up to be. We’ve got a special Summer Enchanted Evenings lecture this week and its about our The Baldpate Inn’s own Key Room. For those who haven’t experienced a Summer Enchanted Evenings Lecture before, on Wednesday nights we have a guest speaker come in and speak about something that is uniquely Estes Park, previous topic have been about Cliff Higby the Father of Estes Park and the local Hummingbirds. We’re excited to see our very own key room is now going to be the highlight of the evening. So come on in before hand and have dinner with us, you can make reservations by either calling 970-586-6151, or by going online and making a reservation through our dining page, http://baldpateinn.com/dining.asp.
Tomorrow the Estes Park Rooftop Rodeo starts up. There will be a parade at 10:30am tomorrow morning so get there early for the best seats. Activities and other pre-rodeo attractions open at 5:30pm before the rodeo, with the rodeo itself starting at 7:30pm. Tickets are available by calling 970-586-6104. In celebration of the Rodeo, the Baldpate Inn is honored to have Lloyd Morris the Cowboy singer join us for a sing along time Friday Evening and Saturday Afternoon. Come join Lloyd and The Baldpate staff for a good ole’ fashion western evening of fun and grub.
The week after the rodeo another special event comes to Baldpate. 7 Keys to Baldpate, of which our lodge is named after, is coming to The Baldpate Inn’s very own stage. Mystery, romance, twist, a wager, and a treasure all come together in this comedy originally adapted by George M Cohen. Our events managers have been working hard on a special Play and Stay package, the details of this will be reported shortly so stay tuned.
Wow! So with all that said and done, let’s get to the food shall we?

Today we are serving our delicious White Chili, which chicken and other delicious spices, this dish is sure to provide a light and tasty lunch option. Also we are serving our Garden Vegetable Soup, which proves that vegetarians and vegan cuisine can still taste great in the hands of our Baldpate Inn chefs.
The muffins of the day are Chocolate Mystery, can you guess the secret ingredient?, and our savory Onion Garlic.
The chefs this morning let me in on the soups of tomorrow, and man I am glad they did because tomorrow we are serving up some of our classics: Corn Chowder and Cowboy Buffalo Stew.

Have a blessed day in Paradise, aka Estes Park,
