Good Morning Estes Park,

It’s already a beautiful day here on Twin Sisters Mountain and its only going to get better. The high today is close to 80 so pack an extra bottle of water while you’re out on the trails. The one trail I’m looking forward to this afternoon is Sand Beach Lake, down in the Wild Basin; the lake is surrounded by a beautiful sandy beach and it is made more impressive by the mountain in the back ground.
If you endeavors take you down to Wild Basin or the rest of Rocky Mountain National Park for the matter, The Baldpate Inn is near if you are in need of a bite to eat. We’re located right across from Lily Lake Trailhead, which is between mile markers 6 and 7 on highway 7. We always have a great lunch crowd filled with hungry hikers, so feel free to drop in as well. Now to the meat of the blog, our daily menu:
Soups: Today we’re serving our delicious White Chili and Cream of Mushroom Soup. The Mushroom soup goes very well with a Two Rivers Chardonnay.

Muffins: The muffins of the day are Zucchini Nut and Peanut Butter. Peanut Butter muffins put peanut butter cookies to shame, so definitely get your hands on some.

Today I got caught snooping around the kitchen, so I only have one soup to report for tomorrow, and that is our classic Beef Stew.
