Hurry In Before It's Too Late

Good Morning!

It's a little chilly here on the side of Twin Sisters this morning. The Aspen leaves are being sent into a dancing frenzy by the cool wind while the sun sends down its golden rays to warm everything up and the Stellars Jay sits elusively in the trees, swooping down every so often to snatch a few seeds from the bird feeder.

Today are wonderful chefs are back in the kitchen busily preparing for your arrival. Cowboy Buffalo Stew (made with real bison meat and also featured in our 2008 Legacy Edition Collections cookbook) and Cream of Mushroom are the soups of choice for the day! Be sure to add a slice of our mouth-watering Baldpate Corn Bread to your plate as it as well as our homemade Honey Wheat Bread would go great with either soup. Try our savory Zucchini Dill Muffins (featured in Bon Appetit) or one of my favorites the Oatmeal Blues-sure to make you anything but blue...Remember to save room for a slice of cherry-rhubarb or chocolate pie (these are some of my favorites)!

We have less than a month before the end of our season so be sure to make it up for a visit prior to our last day-October 18th with the last seating for dining at 2:00pm. Please call us at 970-586-6151 or toll-free 866-577-5397 as reservations are always recommended. Also keep in mind we have changed our dining hours. The last seating every night is at 7:00pm for the remainder of the season.

People travel to wonder at the height of the mountains, at the huge waves of the sea, at the long course of the rivers, at the vast compass of the ocean, at the circular motion of the stars, and yet they pass by themselves without wondering. ~St. Augustine

Have a wonderful day!
