SUNDAY is FUNDAY!

Good morning world! It's another sunny morning at the Baldpate Inn. I think every morning I have the opening shift the sun is already out to greet me. Even though we get the occasional thunder showers in Estes, everyday the sun is shining at one part of the day! So rain or shine come enjoy a wonderful meal at the Baldpate.

Today's soups are Cowboy Buffalo Stew and Corn Chowder. Muffins include our Lemon Ginger Muffins and Apple Raisin Spice Muffins! Cornbread and our Honey Wheat Loaf Bread are on our menu as always so enjoy a piece or two or five! Make sure you save room for homemade pie! We have so many different pies to chose from you might just have to get them all! It is always recommended to make reservations so please feel free to call 970-586-5397 to set one up!

If you missed out on Arsenic and Old Lace this weekend don't fret! We have some more performances coming up August 5th and August 6th. Those dates are our last performances so make sure you come out and enjoy a great play! Tickets are $15 but if you dine with us the same day they are at a discounted price of $12. You can call and reserve your tickets early!

The end of July is here which means some of our interns will start to go back to school. It's crazy that it's almost beginning to be that time because it feels like it was just yesterday we just opened! Because we are mostly college interns we wanted a way to show our school pride, so from August 5th-7th celebrate our diverse staff by wearing your college gear. Share your stories as we share ours of the glory days in college! Answer a few questions about our staff and their respective university and we will enter you in a drawing for a Key Gift Certificate! I will be wearing my Crimson and Grey as I show off my Cougar Pride! Go COUGS!

Sundays are always great because it is a fresh start to the week. So come start your week off right by coming to the Baldpate, we would love to serve you!

I hope everyone enjoyed yesterday's holiday! I sure did! It was great watching the fireworks with the staff and guests! It's funny looking down to see the fireworks because we are so high up! It was beautiful nonetheless. My favorite was the red fireworks because it reminded me of my school colors! Go Cougs!

Today looks to be another great day. Today's soups are Cowboy Buffalo Stew and Cream of Mushroom. Our muffins include our Golden Sunshine Muffin along with a Zucchini Dill Muffin. Don't forget the Cornbread and Honey Wheat Bread are always on the menu. Our buffet  has only the freshest ingredients and all our soups, muffins, and breads are all homemade! We take pride in what we serve and I hope you  enjoy it just as much as we do!

This Friday is our first showing of our outdoor play! Seven Keys to Baldpate will be showing on Fridays at 6:30 P.M. July 8th and the 15th and Saturdays at 1:30 and 6:30 on July 9th and July 16th. Happy Birthday America!

Good Morning All!

Today's soups: American Red Chili and Corn Chowder and muffins include a Cranberry Nut Muffin and Blueberry Muffins. Our famous Cornbread and Honey Wheat Bread are always are on the menu so leave room on your plate for those!
Today, in honor of America's independence, the staff is wearing red, white, and blue! Which is an exciting change from our polo and khakis! A fun fact for the day, the colors on the flag symbolizes certain things. The white signifies purity, red for hardiness and valour, and the blue signifies perseverance and justice. Everyday the men and women who serve this country represent these colors of America by their hard work and sacrifice.

Though out the years the Baldpate Inn has had the privilege of staffing some great soldiers! We just wanted to have a shout out to our veterans! Chad, Jen, Mike, Pete, "Alabama", Jennifer, and Rainey and Micheal your sacrifice and bravery is more than appreciated and we are proud that you not only served our country but  the Baldpate as well! I don't know which is more brave, serving our country or the Baldpate! =)  Thank you!

The sun is shining for America's birthday party! So come join us for some great food and company! Our soup and salad buffet is perfect for your hungry appetite. And don't forget to save room for pie!! What is more patriotic than a warm slice of homemade apple pie?!  And speaking of pie, all our veterans get free ala mode! Come celebrate America's freedom with us! We are free because of the brave!

It's a great day to be at the Baldpate! God Bless America!

Peace and Blessings,
