After countless hours of tireless work, the hummingbirds are beginning to make their appearances and a beautiful opening day of the 2014 season at The Baldpate Inn is upon us. We couldn't be happier that the Inn has come together like it has after suffering such a setback through the devastating floods this past September. Our staff has been tortured for the past 24 hours with the smells lingering throughout the lodge from the kitchen door. Today's menu: a hearty beef stew and creamy broccoli cheddar soup to go along with our usual fresh salad buffet and, of course, the world's greatest cornbread and pie. The dining room will be opening in less than2 hours (11:30 a.m.) and check-in for lodging reservations may begin anytime after 2:00 p.m. Come on up to enjoy a glass of our wide selection of beer and wine with lunch or dinner on our elegant sun porch. We can't wait to see all of your beautiful faces!
