July 2nd-Soups & Muffins

Good Morning!

On my way to get the paper this morning I was greeted by a beautiful day! For a moment I stopped-closed my eyes and just took in the peacefulness of nature. The breeze gently blew around me while the birds sang from the nearby trees.

Our fine chefs are busy preparing Red Chili and Potato Leek-yes it's here today! Either one would be accompanied nicely with a slice of our Honey Wheat Bread...but wait if you are a fan of our mouth-watering Baldpate Corn Bread-you are in for a treat as we will be serving it as well! A key to unlocking your tastebuds today would have to be our Chocolate Mystery Muffins fresh our of the oven, however if you would rather have more of a savory muffin-I would recommend the Triple Cheese Muffins! After your meal-continue pleasing your tastebuds with a slice of homemade pie!

Today would be a prefect day for a walk around Lily Lake (or Lily Ridge) before or after dining with us! The wildflowers are beautifully blooming everywhere-just south of our main lodge here at The Baldpate Inn are some lovely Columbines!
