September 16th-Soups & Muffins

Good Morning!

A cool mountain breeze is blowing the leaves of the Aspen trees as the sun continues to send down its golden rays through the vast blue cloudless sky upon everything around us this morning! On my walk to get the daily paper I spotted a Steller's Jay sitting amongst the trees and was able to take in the majestic view of Longs Peak splattered with snow.

Beef Stew and Pumpkin Curry (don't forget the dollop of fresh whipped cream) are the two soups being prepared by our wonderful chefs to fill up your soup bowls today! I suggest grabbing a slice of our homemade Honey Wheat Bread on your way through the buffet. Our petite Buttermilk Bran Muffins are popping fresh out of the oven today along with two of our sweet muffins-Classic Blueberry and Zucchini Nut! Orange Cinnamon Apple, Dilled Mutli Bean and Pistachio are the three specialty salads are fine staff has created for your dining pleasure today! Remember to save room for a piece of pie-with or without icecream you cannot go wrong!

The other day I took a stroll around Lily Lake-the ducks were out and about and the reflections off the water were a wonderful sight to see! Please join us today before or after a walk around the lake-a trip to RMNP-or whatever your adventure happens to be today-we'd love to have you! To make dining reservations please call 970-586-6151 or toll-free 866-577-5397. You can always find out more about us not to mention sign-up for our newsletter at www.baldpateinn.com If you have an old key you don't know what to do with-I have the perfect place in mind! Bring it in to add to our key collection-we have the world's largest!
