Good Morning Estes Park,

Cory Meza here at the front desk and wishing you all a great morning in the Rocky Mountains. If you are looking for a great hike this morning, I suggest making your way to Sky Pond. From the Bear Lake trail head, take the trail towards Glacier Gorge, and at the giant fork in the trail go right towards the Loch Vale; sky pond is the last of the lakes you’ll hike to. It’s a lovely day for hiking so wherever you go be sure to pack an extra water bottle and sunscreen.
Now we would like to give special recognition to one of our guests. Our guests have made the Baldpate Inn what it is today and we grow to know our regulars. One man has become more than just a regular and more like a resident at this point. Jim Huebner from Fort Collins, Colorado has been coming to The Baldpate Inn for eighteen years now. This means that only Lois herself has come back more times! We are very honored that he would choose us for so many years. We here at the Baldpate want to extend our gratitude to the entire Huebner family.
Many people come up to Baldpate for our lovely soup and salad buffet, but are surprised to learn that we’re also a Bed and Breakfast. If you would like to come join us for lunch and check out the rooms yourself, we’re located about 6 miles outside of Estes Park on highway 7. For dining we always encourage reservations, so give us a call at 970-586-6151.
We here at The Baldpate Inn don’t have a set menu, because we love to switch up the buffet to keep it nice and fresh, here is the menu for today:
Soups: White Chili and Potato Cheese. Potato Cheese makes its debut today, and we’re excited to see what y’all think of it.

Muffins: Lemon Ginger and All-bran. All bran muffins are deceivingly sweet and moist, so come on by and try one.

Now this comes from the chefs in the back and tomorrow looks like Beef Stew and Pumpkin Curry.

We also are looking forward to another night in our Summer Enchanted Evening Series. The Estes Park History Savers do a great job of presenting something uniquely Estes Park every Wednesday and we look forward to their expertise once again. The lecture starts around 7pm tonight so come up and make it a night out on the town with a dinner reservation before hand.

Have a great day,

Cory Meza, Front Desk
