A Warm Fire on a Chilly Morning!

Morning All!

Fall is in the air up here on Twin Sisters Mountain and we all awoke a bit of a chill.  Here in the lobby of the Baldpate, we decided it was time to light a fire, and now we are super cozy! Add a little coffee and hot chocolate to the equation and you have a beautiful mountain morning! What a wonderful way to start the day!  If you experienced a fall chill this morning, come on up to the Baldpate where our soups are bound to warm you up! Today we are featuring a Garden Vegetable and Cowboy Buffalo Stew.  Mmm just thinking about those soups make me feel warmer inside already. Our muffins are Zucchini Nut and Trail Mix along with our Famous Cornbread and Honey Wheat Bread! If you have a sweet tooth, be sure and try a piece of our delicious homemade pie, sure to warm the soul of Jack Frost himself!

Also not to be missed, for nothing else but your grandma's birthday, tonight we will be returning with our Wednesday lecture series, Summer Enchanted Evenings! Join Jane Wright, president of of the Estes Park Postcard Club, as she gives an illustrated talk about the Bear Lake Lodge, a favorite Rocky Mountain National Park tourist destination until its removal in 1959. This talk, will begin at 7:00pm and is free to the public. Complimentary coffee, punch and homemade cookies will be served.

Regards Y'all
