Wednesday!

Morning All!

It's Wednesday again and that means another Summer Enchanted Evening is about to begin! Tonight at 7 PM in the Baldpate Library we have special guest Kurtis Kelley. Kelley is a librarian and local performer that has been leading living-history re-enactments for over a dozen years. His performances usually illustrate a single character. This event is a rare opportunity to see a "medley" of Kelley's favorite characters, all of whom had a tremendous impact on our history: Abner Sprague, Lord Dunraven, and F. O. Stanley. Kelley will also discuss the local history books that guide our understanding of these"history legends". Also included: a brief reading from Joe Mills' "A Mountain Boyhood".

Today's soups are White Chili and Pumpkin Curry.

Please join us tonight to welcome our special guest and enjoy his performance! As always if you would be interested in dining with us before the speech please call for a dining reservation at 970-586-6151.

Warmly,
